Federal Work Study Program at USCB

Students and Provost Around Library Porch TableThe Federal Work-study Program gives students an opportunity for part-time positions on campus and off campus with community service agencies. Work-study positions typically are available in dining services, the Shark's Cove bookstore, the library, and other administrative offices on campus.

To be eligible for employment under this federal program, you must file a FAFSA (by the priority day of March 1st) and indicate that you are interested in work-study, be enrolled in the University or fully accepted for admission and demonstrate financial need.  Students who are enrolled at least half-time work an average of 15 to 20 hours per week. During vacation periods it is sometimes possible to work up to 37.5 hours per week.
