USCB Holds Health and Wellness Fair

BEAUFORT, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) will be hosting the free third annual Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, March 31 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the lawn in front of the library on the Hilton Head Gateway Campus.

The USCB Health and Wellness Fair is designed to increase health awareness for the community. The event is free and open to the public and will feature more than 30 vendors including Beaufort Memorial Hospital – LifeFit Wellness Unit, One Blood, ComForCare Home Care, Palmetto Running Company and many more.

In addition, there will be free blood pressure screenings, blood sugar checks, live bio and neurofeedback tests and vision and glaucoma screenings.

The activities include live music, a rock climbing wall, an obstacle course, corn hole and fitness challenges. Additionally, there will be giveaways every 15 minutes.

“We are excited to be offering USCB’s third annual Health and Wellness Fair for the community,” said Dr. Diana Reindl, assistant professor of nursing and health professions at USCB. “This event is intended to increase health awareness through education and prevention but also help create awareness of programs and services available in our local community.”
