Mr. Duffy joined USCB in the Fall of 2009 after teaching at UM-St. Louis. His professional background includes editorial work for newspapers and magazines, international management consulting, firefighting, and bartending. A Midwesterner by birth, Duffy teaches with a pragmatist’s perspective, attempting to develop USCB scholars’ abilities in a manner that will assist them with scholarly and professional communication. Duffy teaches English 101, 101L, 102 (using baseball as a literary focus), 462 (Technical Writing), and 463 (Business Writing).
