Important Dates & Deadlines

 
Fee Payment Deadlines are communicated to students through their student email account and the USC Beaufort Bursar's facebook page. In order to stay informed on important deadlines, please like our facebook page by clicking HERE!

All fees must be paid by the appropriate deadline to avoid the possible cancellation of your classes. If you wish to cancel your registration, you must do so at my.sc.edu BEFORE the term begins. You may incur charges if you are registered for a class, but fail to drop the class by the appropriate deadline. After the term begins, please consult the Refund Schedule to ensure you drop/withdraw during the 100% refund period to avoid tuition charges.

Students who register after the fee payment deadline must pay fees at time of registration. Late fees of $100.00 per month will be assessed after the fee payment deadline.

Any additional student charges associated with verification of student identity will appear on the student bill prior to final payment, or at the time of enrollment.

Financial aid awards must be applied to any appropriate balance before the fee payment deadline. If your financial aid is not available by the fee payment deadline, you are responsible for paying your fees and being reimbursed by any subsequent financial aid awards.

If your financial aid award is pending, you must clear all exceptions before the award may be applied to any balance due. If you have a balance due after all financial aid awards are available, you must pay the balance due by the appropriate deadline.

Financial Aid Refund Schedule

For students with Financial Aid awards that exceed the amount owed to the University, refund checks are now being direct deposited. If you are not currently signed up for direct deposit, please log onto your Self Service account, select Account Information, and Sign up for Direct Deposit. For students who do not have checking accounts, the refund checks will be mailed. Parent Plus loan refund checks will be mailed to the parent at the address that was entered on the Plus loan application. Students receiving aid based on enrollment in Summer I and Summer II classes will not receive any refund checks until tuition for all terms has been paid.
