OLLI at USCB course offerings are taught by a dedicated group of people, all donating their time, energies and experience to our program. Our faculty and presenters are mostly members of our community and also include current and retired USCB faculty, business leaders, military, and individuals with a particular passion and expertise they wish to share with others.
There are no tests to prepare or papers to grade, just teaching and discussions with interested and engaged students.
OLLI at USCB welcomes and appreciates new and returning instructors and invites course proposals that range from academic subjects to skills and activities. We also encourage a variety of teaching formats, including facilitated discussions of books, films, or ideas; informational lectures; hands-on instruction; and field trips.
Our instructors, as long as they are members of OLLI, are free to take courses, free of charge, during the semester in which they are teaching.
Current semesters for which course proposals are being considered:
- Fall 2017 – September 18 through December 8.
