Supplemental Instruction (SI)
SI is an academic support model developed at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) in 1973 that uses peer-assisted study sessions to improve student retention and success within targeted historically difficult courses. SI is offer at USCB in some sections of MATH 111. More courses may be added in future semesters. Click here for more information.
Tutoring & Writing Center
USCB offers FREE one-on-one tutoring in various courses in Library rooms 219-234. Students can book appointments in advance using this link: www.uscb.edu/tutoring.
Academic Workshop Series
