Leta Salazar is originally from Mobile, Alabama, Before moving to the Lowcountry, she lived in Boston, Chicago, San Jose CA, Keystone CO, Knoxville TN, Captiva Island FL and Southern Illinois.

Prior to joining the University of South Carolina Beaufort, she held a variety of leadership roles in the tourism and hospitality industry. Leta was drawn to higher education through her experience as a hotel general manager with Marriott Hotels and Resorts. She embraced the concept of training and developing employees to become the best versions of themselves. That led to the completion of her Masters Degree with a concentration in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn University.

When not planning Career and Job Fairs or helping students determine their career paths she enjoys kayaking on the May River, fitness walking, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

Nora is originally from Charleston, SC. She came to USCB in the fall of 2015 to pursue a degree in Computational Science. She is a junior majoring in Graphic Design and Media Arts with a minor in Computational Science. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, video games, longboarding, drawing, and hanging out with friends. She credits Dr. Canada, and Dr. McCoy for making her first two years at USCB an all-around great experience. Come visit Nora in Library 209 for a laugh, tech talk, music, sports, or any general questions.

Jasmine is a transfer student from Sumter SC. She came to USCB in the Fall of 2017 after receiving her first degree from Sumter. She is a junior majoring in Communications with a minor in English. Jasmine is currently a student ambassador, chair of marketing and communications for the African American Student Association Club, and the host of our campus news show Blast Broadcast. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, traveling, trying new places to eat, and spending time with her family and friends. The first professors to make a positive impact on her experience here at Beaufort were Dr. Caroline Sawyer and Dr. Carey Fitzgerald. She is very enthusiastic about being a part of our Career Services team.
