Nadine Russell, Master in Accounting, CPA
Instructor, Accounting
“Knowledge has no value unless you pass it on to someone else”. This philosophy guides every aspect of my life, especially my interaction with students.
As a former auditor in public accounting, finance manager in mergers and acquisitions, and global learning director in higher education, I bring professional and life experiences to the courses I teach at USCB.
I have been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1990, after earning a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My teaching experience includes courses in Accounting and International Business at public universities, a private university and a community college.
My passion for international education has led me to help academic institutions to globalize their curriculum, to lead study abroad programs, and to create international exchange opportunities for faculty. As a self-proclaimed “travel-holic,” I have lived in 3 countries, taken students to more than 10 countries, and personally traveled to more than 35 countries, including a Fulbright International Education Administrator award in Russia.
When I am not at work, you will find me playing racquetball or exploring the outdoors via walking, hiking or cycling.
