Benjamin Nelson, PhD

I am an associate professor of Spanish (PhD, The University of Chicago), former chair of USCB’s Faculty Senate, and currently the chair of the Courses and Curricula Committee. I have published in various journals and edited collections on early modern Spanish literature. More recent, notable publications include co-editing and contributing a chapter about Jorge de Montemayor’s La Diana to “Los cielos se agotaron de prodigios”: Essays in Honor of Frederick A. de Armas, and a chapter about Miguel de Cervantes’s La Galatea in The Oxford Handbook of Cervantes.
