I have more than 20 years of clinical experience primarily in adult critical care areas and have taught undergraduate nursing students for 22 years. My passion in Nursing Education is centered on simulation as a teaching-learning modality and have focused my area of scholarship on using simulation to develop students’ clinical judgment skills. I have numerous scholarly publications in peer reviewed journals. I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society and South Carolina Nursing Education Simulation Alliance. Prior to joining USCB in 2022, I served as Lead Faculty in the Accelerated BSN program at the Medical University of South Carolina.
