'There is hope:' Two USCB students host local walk for victims of human trafficking

On a Saturday in October, people all over the world focused awareness on the issue of human trafficking by participating in the Walk for Freedom. Two students in our area brought the walk to Savannah. Jamie Hubbard and Kacey McGuire are passionate about the issue of human trafficking. Between classes and other commitments, they decided to co-host the walk. "It’s currently estimated that there are over 40.3 million men, women and children trapped in slavery around the world," said Hubbard. "As of right now, only one to two percent of victims will ever be rescued."
