English, Theater and Interdisciplinary Studies department Presents ‘The Dybbuk’
Student News, Faculty News
Working with Libby Ricardo, M.F.A., assistant professor of Theater, a cast of students presented “The Dybbuk,” a love story that depicts the possession of a young woman and the exorcism of the malicious spirit known as Dybbuk in Jewish folklore. The canonical work of the Hebrew and Yiddish theater, “The Dybbuk” has been translated and performed all over the world. Performances took place November 30 and December 1 on the Bluffton Campus. The first 50 people who purchased a ticket for opening night were treated to a catered meal served prior to the show.
