USCB Speakers Lend Expertise to a Discussion of Palliative Care

A member of the USCB administration and a member of the faculty, Beaufort Campus Dean
Bob LeFavi, Ph.D., and Summer Roberts, Ph.D., assistant professor of sociology, participated
in an examination of palliative care February 28 at the USCB Center for the Arts in
Beaufort. Dr. LeFavi delivered the keynote address, and Dr. Roberts took part in a
panel discussion entitled, “An Evening with Friends: The Emerging Art, Science and
Beauty of Palliative Care.” The event was sponsored by the Friends of Caroline Hospice
and the USCB Center for the Arts.
