USCB Softball Sweeps Doubleheader at Brewton Parker to Run Unbeaten Streak to 18

USCB softball continued their remarkable season earlier this month in Mt. Vernon, Ga., sweeping a doubleheader from the Barons of Brewton-Parker College, and running its amazing winning streak to 18 to start 2019.
In game 1, Shania Domingue connected for her first home run of the year in the top of the 1st, a 3-run blast that set the tone for the rest of the game for the Sand Sharks as they won 8-5. Canyon Crosby pitched 5 1/3 strong innings for USCB, earning her fourth win of the year. Kinsey Sords pitched the final 1 2/3 innings, notching the save.
Maria Molloseau started game 2, and pitched six effective innings for the Sand Sharks, striking out 6 and picking up her fourth win of the year as USCB defeated the Barons 12-6. Kaleigh Furbush led the offense for the Sand Sharks, hitting a 2-run single to cap a 5-run 4th inning.
