WSP interns are placed in internships with distinguished organizations, such as the Institute of Peace, Center for American Progress, Heritage Foundation, Aspen Institute, Department of Education, National Organization for Women, Department of Justice, Smithsonian Institution, U.S. Department of State, CNN's The Situation Room, and more.

According to USCB Associate Professor of Communication Studies, Jayne L. Violette, Ph.D., "Antonia transferred to USCB last year and immediately distinguished herself among her classmates, embodying grit and determination in all aspects of her life. Not only is she at the top of our program academically, but she's quickly become known on our campus as a major contributor to our community, leading in a number of organizations and initiatives. She's smart, giving, caring, and humble, an exemplary Sand Shark indeed!"
