Jeffrey McQuillen, MA
Instructor of English
Advisor for Interdisciplinary Studies
Interdisciplinary Minor in Film Studies Coordinator
One University Boulevard
My name is Jeffrey McQuillen, and I am an Instructor of English at USCB. I have both a Bachelor and Master of Arts in English from Clemson University.
Here at USCB, I teach composition and literature, medieval literature, Arthurian literature, science fiction, drama, romantic poetry, rhetoric, the art of literary adaptation, and film theory and criticism.
I previously taught English courses at Armstrong Atlantic State University as well as Central Texas College and Savannah Technical College from 2005-2016. I became an adjunct instructor at USCB in 2012 and have been a full-time instructor of English since 2015. I am also Program Coordinator of USCB’s Interdisciplinary Film Minor as well as an Interdisciplinary Studies Student Advisor. I enjoy working at USCB because of the range of classes I get to teach and the many students I get to know in those courses and in the IDST programs.
