Ashley Shroyer, EdD
Associate Professor of Nursing
I am an Associate Professor in the Nursing Program at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. I have over 15 years of experience as a nurse educator in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. My nursing experience has been in the critical care setting, perioperative services, as well as the emergency room. I have maintained my Certified Nurse Educator certificate through the National League for Nursing since 2012. I received my initial nursing degree in 2003 from Fairmont State University, earned my BSN from West Virginia University in 2005, and then my MSN with a focus on Nursing Education in 2010 from Marshall University. In 2017, I completed my EdD from Grand Canyon University. My doctoral work focused on student persistence in various nursing program tracks.
