USCB Public Health Students Conduct Community-based Research
The University of South Carolina Beaufort's public health students engage in undergraduate community-based research, guided by experienced faculty mentors. This research focuses on addressing public health challenges in the local community, such as access to healthcare, chronic disease prevention, and health equity.
By conducting research in partnership with community organizations and residents, students gain practical experience and contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of their community. Through this hands-on learning approach, USCB's public health program prepares students for successful careers in the field of public health.
